Bro. Justin Romero, a proud Fall 22 initiate of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Pi Beta Chapter, is a current Junior at Binghamton University studying psychology. In hopes that one day he can use his skills and resources to benefit underrepresented communities through mental health, Bro. Romero aspires to reach beyond secondary education and obtain a Master’s degree after his studies.

Bro. Romero is deeply connected with his rich roots from the Dominican Republic. Attending a predominantly white institution, he finds it difficult to foster that connection, but has reignited this flame by way of the diversity of the Pi Beta chapter.

Eager to continue his academic, professional, and personal growth, Bro. Romero urges all students to reach higher because if you shoot for the moon, you’ll land in the stars.
